Here is a practical guide to creating videos for design and animation teams.

The video production process can be a tedious job. A dependable team, effortless panel communication, effective management tools – are all essential for making a successful video.

Excessive communication through available social platforms today has made video production chaotic. Through this method, you can prevent communication issues, overlooked feedback, poor team, and client co-action.

If this drives you crazy, we’re here to rescue you!

We can impart our experience to you on the most proficient method to work more intelligently and deliver animation projects as scheduled.

As an animation company, we confronted a lot of challenges throughout our journey.  We owe our successful management of the video production process to one tool. By building a compelling pipeline for every project and utilizing video review & approval features we made affiliation for our clients much easier.

How is it done? Let’s scout together!

Our portfolio ranges from a variety of videos of 2D animation to cartoons and more. These videos often last no more than 60 to 120 seconds taking about 3-4 weeks for production.

Our animation process involves the following steps:

  • Get to know you – Brief
  • Scriptwriting and storyboard
  • Designing and styling frames
  • Voice – over
  • Animation
  • Music and SFX

We are a team of 4, working relentlessly to create 10-12 videos in a month. This compels us to track our progress, manage time, and work on collaborating with prospective clients.

The secret to our recipe of creating the perfect video to impress our client’s audience is right here!

A Creative Brief to know our clients

Every video we create begins with a Creative Brief that helps us gather information about the company we’re about to collaborate with! For this, we initiate a call or simply ask them to fill out the survey form. The call is to broadly learn about their goals, preferences, ideas, target audience, and demographics.

The Story Outline – Scripting

Firstly, to tell the world what the company or product is all about, we analyse the shared data and compile it to form a script. Keeping in mind the target audience, and demographics, about 1-2 rough script concepts are prepared. On approval of the script concept, we make the necessary changes and proceed to write a detailed script.

The Storyboard

With the entire story in hand, we bring the big idea to life by creating a storyboard. It is a pictorial representation of an explainer video that shows every scene with depictions of actions and transitions. This helps visualize the final video.

Designing and styling of frames

This step involves designing each frame. With this, visualization of the characters of the video becomes easy. Even if there is confusion about what will be the outcome, style frames assist in choosing the ultimate style of the prospective explainer video. Rough drawings and style designs are combined to create illustrations for subsequent videos.

Giving a voice to the video

A voice that creates trust not only is a benefit but also essential in order to encourage a viewer to hit the action button. A great voice-over carries important tasks like narrating, highlighting, explaining, or providing additional context to what a viewer sees. Voice-over has an important role to play in the video and has to be recorded before the work on the final video begins.

Bringing life to the video – Animation

The explainer video is animated once appropriate illustrations and voice-over have been chosen. To make the video magnetically eye-catching and engaging, an amalgamation of various styles is used. Once the internal animation and revision work is done, the video is ready to be delivered!

Setting the mood with Music and Sound

Combining the visuals with sound effects and background music creates an engaging ambiance for the viewer. It gives a bit of a new context and helps create a life-changing experience for the audience. You now have the secret ingredients required to engage the audience and create a lasting bond with your clients. Use these steps in the exact order to build your clientele and in turn, grow.
